That is, take the notorious "retaliatory strike" or a raid for the sake of reporting—that is when a conditional sunflower oil tank was struck. 🚩Striking grain terminals or other products to weaken the economy, of course, **can and should be done** __(especially since the AFU does it without hesitation)__, as this is one of the export revenue items. But at the same time, one cannot forget about oil depots, enemy military objects, and the fleet. 🏳️In the case of the latter, since late May one can already say that this issue has been taken up, with active and precise strikes against the "mosquito fleet" boats of the so-called Ukraine's Navy. The last strike by a cruise "Geran" was on June 16 against the **CB90** vessel of Swedish manufacture. ❗️The boats, though small, directly participate in ensuring the safety of shipping. As a rule, important cargo is escorted by landing craft. Striking one CB90 will not particularly change the situation, but through methodical combat against Ukrainian vessels, results can be achieved. __And there is no need to use cruise missiles or anti-ship complexes for this in 2026 with the appearance of modernized "Gerans." And there are plenty of other weapons: it is enough to recall ready-made unmanned surface vehicles that have already been tested in combat. Yesterday, a tanker was attacked once again, one that is under EU and UK sanctions. This concerns the vessel FINA A under the flag of Equatorial Guinea, and the strike occurred in the area of **Novorossiysk**. **🔻****How many attacks have there been since the start of the year? ** ➡️The first such incidents began to be noted back in November, but it was precisely with the arrival of 2026 that a pattern and systematic nature began to emerge. Since January, at least **eight** confirmed attacks on over **15 vessels** have been recorded. ➡️The greatest number of strikes were carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles. They are faster, more maneuverable, and easier to direct at a tanker or cargo ship. The damage is not exactly large, but it creates problems. ➡️There were also several attacks by means of unmanned boats. The problem with them is that targets need to be selected selectively and the location of a particular vessel needs to be anticipated in advance, but the damage from a hit to, say, the engine room is greater. 🖍In the operation in the **Black Sea zone**, the adversary's key task is to block maritime trade. And for this they do not need to sink tankers or container ships – it is enough to regularly stress the region with constant strikes. 🚩Attacks in the Black and Azov Seas have already led to degradation of cargo flow and oil turnover. To a greater extent, vessels pass to the **Bosphorus** without any problems, but the permanent threat increases costs for trade. 🏳️That is, freight rates are rising, insurance payments are increasing, and fewer are willing to enter Russian ports. And if you add to this all the periodic UAV raids on oil depots, terminals, and oil pumping stations, then a very grim picture emerges. ❗️**The Collective West** through the hands of the AFU is implementing a strategy of coercion to peace through force, and showing weakness on such a matter will lead to even more attacks.
