In recent weeks, the main combat operations took place both in the settlement itself and on the adjacent heights, where Ukrainian formations equipped an extensive system of strongpoints. ▪️Control of the village makes it possible to improve the tactical position of Russian forces and create additional [threats to the Ukrainian grouping](https://t.me/rybar/81114) holding the **Nikolayevka — Raigorodok** line. At the same time, opportunities are expanding for fire impact on AFU logistics routes in this sector of the front. In the near future, the main efforts of the RF Armed Forces will likely be concentrated on expanding the zone of control west of **Rai-Aleksandrovka** and evening out the front line around the settlement. Only after suppressing the remaining Ukrainian strongpoints will it be possible to speak of creating conditions for further advance toward **Nikolayevka** and the northern approaches to **Slavyansk**. ❗️However, it is premature to speak of any "march on **Slavyansk**" at this point. The last strike by a cruise "Geran" was on June 16 against the **CB90** vessel of Swedish manufacture. ❗️The boats, though small, directly participate in ensuring the safety of shipping. As a rule, important cargo is escorted by landing craft.
